A sanctuary nestled in the mountains of Hout Bay
Outside the hustle of Cape Town’s city life, our gardens are full of trees and medicinal plants. The perfect place to immerse yourself in the healing powers of nature as you embark on a retreat journey within. Our space was designed with the intention of feeling like you are outside while you are inside.
At the heart of Phakalane’s retreats is our Temple space which is the first thing you see as you enter the main house. This circular chamber has an open roof with tall walls and a built-in fireplace. There is no better place to hold ceremonies, talk circles, yoga, breathwork or alternative movement.

We can sleep up to 20 guests (with shared or split beds)
20% deposit required to secure retreat dates (refunded if cancelled 90 Days before retreat – minus bank fees)
